Anders Nelson, Ph.D.
Principal Investigator
Anders received his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at the University of Virginia in 2010 and his doctorate in neurobiology from Duke University in 2015. At Duke he studied corollary discharge circuits in mouse sensorimotor cortex with Dr. Richard Mooney. Anders completed his postdoctoral studies at Columbia University in 2022 with Drs. Rui Costa and Tom Jessell, where he studied how corticospinal projections to the brain and spinal cord are organized, and what information is encoded in their activity.
Eva Schelbaum, M.A.
Research Associate
Eva received her B.A. in theatre from Goucher College and her M.A, in behavioral neuroscience from Queens College of the City University of New York. She joined the lab in 2024.
Kate Cruite, B.S.
Graduate Student
Kate received her bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Northeastern University. She joined the Neuroscience Graduate Program in 2023.
